Growing up near Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Brook used her imagination and directorial skills to convince classmates to pose for her Kodak 110 camera. Not much has changed since then.
“I knew at a very young age I wanted to be a photographer. I wanted to do something creative, exciting, every day had to be different. I live off that love I discovered way back when, not to mention it feels incredible to see other people connect with the images I create.”
Today, Brook works with commercial, editorial and entertainment based clients such as MTV, AIGA, BVK, Atlantic Records, Fearless Records, Jamrock Magazine, Decibel Magazine and has photographed numerous celebrities including Akon, Sean Kingston and Christian Siriano from Bravo TVs Project Runway. Her work as both a photographer and director has garnished recognition from Billboard Magazine as well as PDN/Photo District News.
Brook splits her time between New York City and Orlando Florida, but her career enables her to travel the globe. Despite the full work plate, she makes time for personal projects such as Portraits For Food and also serves as a board member for the SHO Foundation/Simply Helping Others, an organization focused on bringing art education into the lives of children.
Closet geek, purveyor of mexican food, dedicated yogi and avid cyclist, Brooks shares this delicious life with her husband, cat and pug dog.
